Happy 1st Birthday Baby Boy Our Little Blip!!

Milestones:

Oisín is 1 year old
He has eight teeth
Is now very fast at bumming along on the floor
Can walk with help from Mammy or Daddy
Speaks alot more words now

How Many Months Old?: 12 Months! Our baby boy is now a little boy!

Weight & Height?: 23.3 pounds in weight and 78cm tall!!

How Is Baby Eating?: Oisín now only has two bottles of milk a day in the morning and before bed at night time. He has weaned off formula more or less himself. He loves his food and feeds himself almost everything.

How Is Baby Sleeping?: After last month of waking alot he is back to his normal routine of sleeping right through the night. He will go to bed at 7pm and wake 7am

Is Baby Crawling or Walking Yet?: He is not crawling but he bums around on the floor, he is  walking while holding on to my hands or along the sofa!

Is Baby Talking Yet?: The same words as last month!

How is Baby's Routine?: It's more or last the same as past months

How is Mammy & Daddy this Month?: We are great really enjoyed our Christmas with our little boy

Worst Moment Of the Month?: None that I can think of!

Best Moment Of the Month?: Waking on the morning of his birthday, and feeling so lucky and blessed

Christmas Traditions Week 3

Going for a Christmas dinner/night out with friends and family

We done two of these last week

on Friday we went out with family and friends
for out Christmas night out but we also celebrated my
30th birthday it was great fun.
Then on Sunday I went out for a meal with
friends for my 30th birthday it was lovely

Bought Oisín a Christmas tree decoration

Never took a picture of the decoration
but Oisín liked a red reindeer with long legs
We are going to do this every year with Oisín

This Week I'm Grateful For:

My husband
he cheers my up when I'm down
my friend, my rock, my lover
he treats my like a princess
and his son like a prince
so grateful for this wonderful man of mine

Things That Made Me Say Yeah 25/52

Family night out for Christmas and my 30th Birthday

it was a great night but I must be getting old

cause it took me almost two days to get over it!

 This little man is cutting two more teeth

so he is not in the best form he

is also going through a bratty stage pinching, pulling hair

when he doesn't get his own way but look at that cute face! 

 Cuddles with Mammy before I went out with

the girlies for a birthday night out!

Christmas Traditions Week 2

Going to see Santa Claus

This was a new tradition for us this year
apart from going to see Santa as a child
this was the first time we have been back
It was such a wonderful thing when on
Sunday morning we brought Oisín to
see Santa Claus for the first time
He loved the toy work shop he got to
play in before Santa
He wasn't so sure of Santa at first
but then he came around and sat on his knee

Visiting a Christmas market

This is a not so new tradition
we started this three years ago at
the Christmas markets in New York
this year we went to a new
one at St Stephen's Green
it was good fun
We drank mulled wine
and ate pulled pork!

Going into Dublin City Centre to
see the Christmas Lights

This has always been a
tradition in my family
but as I got older I forgot
about it and never made a huge
effort to go see the lights in town
this year was different we
wanted Oisín to see it
He face was a picture when he
woke from his nap in his pram
to realise it had got dark and
there was lights all around him!

This Week I'm Grateful For:

All the wonderful family and friends

who came to Oisín's birthday party

this is just some of them

They helped set up the food and

Oisín's Godmother Michelle

was great with him

as I wasn't feeling well

and was trying to keep

the 15 children amused!

We are so blessed and grateful

for all the amazing friends

and family we have

who came to enjoy

our little boy's big day

Oisín's 1st Birthday Party

On Saturday we had an early 1st Birthday party

for Oisín

his birthday is not till the 27th but

we wanted to have it before Christmas so

that we could enjoy it and then focus on Christmas

We had a lovely day

Oisín was so good and loved all the attention

He got so many lovely presents and cards

We had 15 children at the party plus adults

I think next year we might pick a venue to 

have it at 

As it's two days later and my house

still isn't back to normal!!
