Five Things! 4/52

Even on a cold, wet, housework filled weekend I can find Five Things that made me smile/happy this weekend!

Listening to this album from my favourite band while doing the housework. I forgot how much I really love this album. From Dreams (thunder only happens when its raining) Don't Stop (thinking about tomorrow) Go Your Own Way (you can call it another lonely day) Songbird (and the songbirds are singing like they know the score) and finally Golddust Woman (take you silver spoon and dig your grave) and of course all the fab songs inbetween. This album was on repeat for most of the weekend!
 

Having lazy lie in mornings filled with coffee and danishes!

Watching this movie for the first time and literally sobbing on the hubby shoulder for most of the end part....such a beautiful movie...which has now become a favourite.

 

Rediscovering my love for my coffee machine after a friend gave me some limited addition capsules. Trying them all out and having a little caffeine overdose!

Snuggling up and watching Call The Midwife and again sobbing on the hubby shoulder! I really love this TV show it just gets better and better!

Had to add this picture of the crazy weather we got on Sunday. Woke to sunshine and decided to go for a walk only to put our coats on this happened sleet and snow!!! Crazy weather!

What's In My Makeup Bag

More like what in my makeup box for me! I have a lot of makeup and instead of having a few different bags I have on big box/case!

It might seem over full but I know where everything is and I can put my hand to everything I need!

This is what I wear on a normal work day! No7 foundation which I think is amazing its long wear its gives great coverage with even the smallest amount and I can wear it all day without having to top up. Then I have chit chat concealer pen which is great for under eyes and if you have a break out. Next is a little MUA power to keep everything in place. Then I do my eyes with No7 eye compact its so handy I love it. I then use a No7 brow pencil and some No7 mascara and I finish with some blusher.

My night out make up! I do all of the below but add a few things too! Like chit chat highlighter for cheekbones and chit chat cheek tint. I also do more with my eyes I do love a smokey eye!

Beating the January Blues!

Dress - A wear sale €12 Boots - Shoe zone €24

 To banish my January blues I decided to do some shopping, as every woman knows you just cant beat shopping to cheer yourself up! I totally over spent and will be completely broke this week but hey I can look at my lovely new things and be happy!

Leggings - Dunnes Stores €8 PJ's - Dunnes Stores €12

 I had a lovely snow day in these pj's the other day, tea, lighting candles, staying in pj's while watching Call The Midwife...bliss!

Coat - A wear sale €20

 This coat was the best bargain of the day it was in the a-wear sale reduced from €70!!

I bought a few bits & bobs too! Shampoo, dry shampoo, make up brush, tooth brush and power!

Coffee Jar & egg cups to finish off our poppy set collection, candles & tea towels!

I really love shopping, but I will don't be going another shopping spree for a while as we have a very busy February birthdays, valentines day and saving for a new car! Have you had any shopping sprees lately?
