Five Things 22/52

This weekend was a fairly quite one for us. Paul was working this weekend and I always hate the weekends he has to work as its mostly filled with boring house work for me! Anyhow here are five things from this weekend.

Here at Furey Follies we are a little slow on the up take! After this show being on TV three years we have only started to watch it the past month or so. A friend of ours has the three seasons on DVD and gave us a lend to watch them from the start. I wasn't sure if I would like it, in fact I was sure it wasn't my cup of tea....while how wrong was I in the past few days we have watched the whole of season two and are now on episode six from the three season. It has fast become my favourite way to relax in the evening! Love it!

Crispy roast duck pancakes my favourite Friday night dinner yummy!

On Friday after work I bought some flowers to brighten up the apartment a little when I got home from work I was shattered left the flowers in the sink and went for a nap. When I woke Paul had tried his best to arrange the flowers and put them in a vase I had to laugh when I saw them! Of course I cut them down and put them in a different vase but he tried his best!

Saturday night pizza we ate this as we watched more Game of Thrones!

Lazy Sunday morning breakfast!

That's my five things whats yours?

Five Things 20/52

What a beautiful weekend it was! The weather is cheering everyone up and for once it feels like we are getting a proper summer! I have to be honest and say I can't really enjoy the weather as much as I would like as for me being pregnant and summer heat doesn't really go together but I am trying to enjoy it as much as I can. So here are my five things from the weekend:

Showing my parents the pram/travel set I fell in love with and then for my Dad to surprise us by putting down the deposit on it! Love my parents x

Buying pretty things that FIT me in Mothercare!!

Yummy Saturday Morning breakfast of danish and orange juice!

My new pregnancy pillow which I am loving great back support and its making a nights sleep so much better I actually slept right through the night last night with this!!

Our new fan has been a life saver this weekend we have it on when we get up straight through to night time! For me it has been amazing! Never thought I would get excited over fans and pillows but this is what pregnancy does to you!!

What is your five things from over the weekend?

Five Things 7/52

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Mine was pretty horrible stuck indoors while suffering from a horrible sore throat and cough! Today I thought I was well enough for work only to faint in work and be brought to the doctors! Turns out I have a chest infection as well as a bladder infection this as well as my PCOS meds which are very hard on my body have made my immune system go really low so I am going to have some more tests done during the week. Starting a new tonic today so hopefully I will be feeling better soon.

Going to try cheer myself up with Five Things that made me smile this weekend:

Paul bringing me breakfast in bed the weekend. Yummy boiled eggs with bread soldiers!

Our youngest niece Molly turned one this weekend! She lives in Sweden so getting photos like this from her Mammy always makes me smile. Happy first birthday Molly x

The sky last night had beautiful colours. I am loving the stretch in the days and the brighter evenings!

Paul made a lovely roast pork Sunday lunch it was yummy could eat it again now!

Bubble bath and book I am reading bliss! Paul ran this bath for me last night he is so good and looked after me all weekend!
