Five Things 19/52

Its been a while but Five Things is back! Had to take a break while morning sickness was taking its toll on me but it seems to finally have gone :) Here are five things from over the weekend:

Saying goodbye to my Great Uncle Paddy in Coventry. Bitter sweet moments of farewell and yet a wonderful celebration of his life his family gave him such a beautiful send off. RIP Uncle Paddy x

Spending the last few hours of the weekend in this beautiful park having a picnic, watching children playing, adults relaxing and family's enjoying themselves.

Catching up on TV that I missed during the week. I really love this show!

Satisfying my egg craving a yummy ham, tomato, and feta cheese omelette

Finishing my weekend off with a cuppa and chocolate!

What are your five things from the weekend?

Bump to Baby - 13 Weeks Pregnant

- Baby is the size of a peach
- Those tiny fingers how have developed fingerprints
- We had our dating scan this week
- Baby is 8.7cm according to our scan

How Many Weeks Pregnant?: 13 Weeks

Nickname For Baby?: Since we found out at 5 weeks pregnant we have called this little one our little blip!

Gender Of Baby?: Don't know but when I saw the little image on our scan I immediately thought of a little girl!

Any Stretch Marks Yet?: None Yet

Any Maternity Clothes Yet?: Only three bras from Mothercare has I have gone up two cup sizes already!

Any Movement Yet?: None that I can feel yet

How Is Sleeping?: Sleeping at night is not great waking up to go to the toilet three times a night! Trying to get use to sleeping on my side as I always sleep on my back which I can't do any more! Must invest in a pregnancy pillow!

Any Nausea?: Very bad nausea and vomiting when I ate an apple on Saturday either little blip does not like apples at all or the acid in the apple did not agree with me.

Food Cravings?: Had the strangest craving this week for Jamie Oliver's chicken and mushroom pie! Paul being the wonderful husband he is went and got all the ingredients for it and made it for me. It was yummy!

Food Aversions?: Because of my nausea apples and also watermelon!

Miss Anything From Before Being Pregnant?: Prawns and chicken liver pate!

Symptoms This Week?: Nausea on Saturday, sore boobs and very bad acne! I have had a horrible cold and sore throat so have had fatigue this week. Have been sleeping alot!

Worst Moment Of the Week?: Definitely having this stinking cold and sore throat. At one stage I was so bad I didn't think I could get my scan done! I felt a lot better on the day of the scan so that was good but it still haven't fully cleared up. The last few days has been spent drinking/eating chicken soup, drinking honey with lemon and topping up my vitamin C as much as I can!

Best Moment Of the Week?: Getting our dating scan done for sure! This little one has being wanted for so long and after a long time trying to get pregnant,  to see that little life that we created on screen well words can't even describe how we felt! I was having crazy dreams the night before so I was a little nervous when we got there but the nurse was lovely. Little blip was having a sleep she said Aw we have a sleepy baby its not going to like us waking it up! And little blip didn't like being woke (takes after Mammy that way!) blip kicked its legs and waved its hands to show us how it didn't like being woke! I looked at Paul's face at one point during the scan he didn't notice me but I will never forget the look of awe and amazement on his face. We are both still on cloud nine and it will be a while before we come down!

Our Holidays! We are back!

Hey! We are back from a our break and our hols we had a wonderful time in Sunny Beach Bulgaria. It was our first time there but we are already planning to go back and its very rarely that we like somewhere so much that we would go back!
It was so lovely to have some couple time together. We sat by the beach looking at the world go by and it was just what we needed! Stand by for a heavy picture post!

Paul starting off our holiday in the airport!
 Pool at our hotel/apartments

Our hotel was called The Poseidon it was a lovely hotel/apartments the pool was lovely and big. The kiddies pool seemed to be full all the time with little ones enjoying there holiday. The restaurants around Sunny Beach are great we would recommend The Castle, The Steak House and The Marvel good value for money  and food was lovely. Paul loved the local beer which was 3levs a pint which was around €1.50 which is great value for money!

 Sunning myself by the pool!

Some days we just sat by the pool enjoying the swimming and reading, other days we would take a stroll down to the old town of Nessbar. Its a fishing village with lovely little shops and amazing fresh sea food restaurants.
One of the old Church's in Nessbar

We found a really nice restaurant/pub in Sunny Beach called The Fat Cat's it was like a sports bar its showed all the sport from the UK and Ireland. Paul loved it! Paul really enjoyed the food there but I rather the local food. We went to see an Elvis show there one night it was aimed at an older crowed than us but we really enjoyed it! It was cheesy but hey we where on holiday!
 Bulgarian Elvis!

We played crazy golf one sunny day it was so much fun especially because I won! We also went on a horse and cart ride around Sunny Beach which I really enjoyed and we got to see some places we hadn't been to yet.

Coming towards the end of our holiday I decided to get a fish peddie it was the most weird sensation ever! My feet were so soft and lovely afterward so I would recommend it!

We had an amazing holiday and a much need break. As I have a feeling things are going to get a little crazy around the Furey Follies house soon!
