Over The Weekend #23 Easter Edition!

Well that's Easter over with for another year!
We enjoyed a lovely long weekend with family
and it was so nice but I am looking forward to April
when it's a relaxing month with nothing much on!

Easter Saturday the weather wasn't great here in Dublin
so it was spent Spring cleaning then watching The Good Dinosaur
which is now the household favourite!

After a tea of chicken and prawn taco's it was bath time!
Oisin loves his bath time so the water does be quite cool be the time he is ready to get out!

When bath time was over and Oisin was settled in bed
Paul and I enjoyed a drink and watched the movie Deadpool
I wasn't expecting much but I really enjoyed it!

The Easter Bunny was very good this year!
Oisin's favourite Peppa Pig of course!

We spend the morning in Church, then home for some rather yummy breakfast!
We then watched the 1916 celebrations on TV

At around 2pm we went to my parent's for a lamb Easter dinner
Oisin found my late brother's childhood toy dinosaurs and loved them
He played his mouth organ for them which is now a fast favourite!
Thrown in prosseco, laughs and lots of chocolate and that was our day!

Then it was home for something nice to eat and drink!

Yesterday we got an extra day bank holiday but Paul was working
till 1pm when he was finished we went up to his parents
for lunch and it was another lovely day
Oisin loves going up as he get to play with his best friend
his Grandparent's dog JJ

Hope you all enjoyed your Easter break

Five Things 48/52

Happy Monday everyone hope you all had a lovely weekend here are my five things from this weekend:

Having ten minutes Saturday afternoon to sit down relax and enjoy some of Paul's homemade brownies with a very large cup of tea!

What Sunday mornings are made for! Latte and french pastries!

My heart broke for my little guy this weekend, he has had the sniffles the past couple of days but nothing too bad then on Sunday it got worse. He got all snotty and the poor little mite couldn't get it out..all I want to do for him was blow his nose and I couldn't. How the littlest things make babies sore like wind and snot! We have been trying all sorts of things, steam, sprays, tummy time to try get this little ones chest and nose clear. This is my favourite moment on Sunday when fell after two hours of trying he fell asleep on my shoulder.

Ready for Call The Midwife!

After a very long day I needed some Jeremy Piven in my life!

Five Things 36/52

Hi everyone hope your weekend was a nice one. Our was very quiet and relaxing we basically done  nothing this weekend only chill out and do some cleaning. We have a really busy week more hospital appointments, sorting out more of blip's things, and we have a whole day of antenatal classes, so it was nice to recharge our batteries before the craziness of this week! Here are my five things:

Lighting Yankee Candles all weekend our apartment smelt of lovely spices, vanilla's and fruits.

A few of my friends actually put up there Christmas tree and decorations this week, even for me who is a total Christmas nut this is a little too early for me! It did however get me in the mood to watch a holiday movie so we settled down and watched Planes Trains and Automobiles really love this movie.

Paul is doing Movember! Week one and he already has this red tash! He looks a little crazy in this picture because he was laughing then I was laughing and this was the best one I could get of him! He will be updating his Paulie's page weekly with a Movember update!

Late Sunday lunch!

Being a little naughty and eating chocolate pud and strawberries while watching Downton Abbey!

So that's my five things from the weekend, what's yours?

Five Things 29/52

We had a busy weekend. We went to a wedding it was lovely but I am still shattered today as it was a long day and I think I did a bit too much dancing! So here is this weekends Five Things!

The lovely drive down to the hotel where the wedding was on, it was a nice hour drive with lovely scenes like this.

Myself and Paul at the wedding it was a lovely day x

Paul and Joanne the bride, her little daughter poked her in the eye at the church and cut her eye, she then had to wear sunglasses for the rest of the wedding and go to the eye and ear hospital the next day :( At least she was one cool looking bride!

We finished our weekend off the day after the wedding we went for yummy Sunday lunch at the Dew Drop Inn it was just what we needed!

Finishing off the weekend with this amazing dessert I totally scoffed it!! On a bit of a chocolate craving thing at the moment and this totally hit the spot!

Five Things 28/52

Happy Monday hope you all had a lovely weekend. Ours was pretty quiet we had a weekend of rearranging things and making room for little blip! I know it's early yet but I think nesting took over this week and I really wanted to get stuff sorted while we had a quiet weekend. We had a busy and exciting day today we had our big scan it was amazing! Here is five things from this weekend:

These really pretty coloured roses I think there are really beautiful .

Rearranging our whole living area in our apartment to make space for baby! I loved the other way we had our furniture arranged but we need space for blip's things. So we decided it was time to move things around I like it and there looks like a lot more space lets see how long before it gets filled up with baby things!

Chilling out lighting a candle and listening to Stevie Nick album Bella Donna. I love Stevie Nicks solo music but I always come back to this album I really love it plus the cover is kinda cool!

After a yummy Sunday lunch Paul made this lovely pudding of hot chocolate pud and ice cream.

Having a lovely bubble bath with candles and a good book! Relaxing before our scan today!
