Tough Weekend!

This weekend we say goodbye to the place that has become our home for the past three years...its going to be a hard weekend off packing up our things. We where only give less than 20 days to leave the apartment as its getting reposed from our landlord by the bank! We couldn't find a suitable place in that time so we have deiced to move back in with my parents for a few months until we find a nice place where we can but down some roots.
Last night was our last night here as we move into my parents today

Five Things 48/52

Happy Monday everyone hope you all had a lovely weekend here are my five things from this weekend:

Having ten minutes Saturday afternoon to sit down relax and enjoy some of Paul's homemade brownies with a very large cup of tea!

What Sunday mornings are made for! Latte and french pastries!

My heart broke for my little guy this weekend, he has had the sniffles the past couple of days but nothing too bad then on Sunday it got worse. He got all snotty and the poor little mite couldn't get it out..all I want to do for him was blow his nose and I couldn't. How the littlest things make babies sore like wind and snot! We have been trying all sorts of things, steam, sprays, tummy time to try get this little ones chest and nose clear. This is my favourite moment on Sunday when fell after two hours of trying he fell asleep on my shoulder.

Ready for Call The Midwife!

After a very long day I needed some Jeremy Piven in my life!

Stressful Events & Changing Times!

Since we found out I was pregnant we have had some stressful and eventful times! We where delighted when we found out after trying for what felt like forever! Since then there have been a number of eventful/stressful things happen.

On the way home from our first scan we where on the bus to my parents and a person walked in front of the bus and got knocked down! Needless to say this was a quite shocking thing to witness and all the bus passengers then got questioned by the police.

After that we went on holiday (a well needed one) the holiday was wonderful! Relaxing, sun, sand and chilling out just what we needed until we where coming home! When our holiday rep forgot to collect people at our hotel and the hotel across from us! Cue waiting around for two hours in the dark not knowing what's going on! Trying to ring our rep with no luck! In the end the rep realised her mistake and collected us all forty minutes before the flight was meant to take off!

The hubby then lost his keys and wallet in the space of a few days...stressful days of getting keys cut and cancelling bank cards ensued!

A few days after that we almost got run down by a crazy lady driver at a pedestrian crossing! We where mid way across the road when she came speeding into the car park drove half way into the pedestrian crossing and stopped inches away from my face!! Paul had a few harsh words for her!

I then witnessed in work some shocking behaviour from a adult who was aggressive and a bully. I wasn't involved but work wasn't a very nice place to go into for a while. Thankfully in the last couple of weeks the situation has been solved and work is now a nice place to be again.

We now have been getting annoyed with our landlord's lack of ability to get anything sorted for us quickly i.e if anything breaks or needs to get fixed he doesn't do anything about it until we a literally ringing him ten times a day about it! So very annoying!

We are now ready for a change and after a few stressful events things seem to be fitting into place for us.
I got great news that I got another year contract with my job (its government funded and I wasn't sure if I would get two years out of it) I really do like my job. It's only part time but it gets me out and about meeting different people. Plus the money helps also! I plan to go on my maternity leave the end of November until the start of May hopefully all will go to plan!

We finally got a new car! After a year of saving we got our new little car its a red renault clio who I named Betsy! Its a great little family car with just enough space for all of Blip's stuff! Paul got a really good deal on car insurance which was another bonus.

And finally we will be moving from this small one bedroom apartment which we called home for the past three years! Ideally we would like to move before blip is born so that we could get blip nice and settled without having to move again in a couple of months. It also would be nice to move before this place becomes over crowed with baby stuff, but we have to be realistic and we are not sure that our budget will stretch to moving out before Christmas. So we are aiming to move out in February little blip should be two months by then and I can help with moving and packing without a huge bump! I am looking forward to our last Christmas in our apartment before we say goodbye and move on to a bigger place!

So exciting and changing times ahead!

Love / Hate!

 Hate

* Timing a bus and it never coming - standing around a an hour on a bus that was meant to come 45 minutes ago. It really really annoys me!

* People who do nothing in work - while other people do everything...this really gets on my nerves and it happening allot at the moment.

* When people push past you at the bus stop when getting on the bus - this happened to me the other day I was the first person at the bus stop and yet the last person to get on the bus!

* When you feel rich when you get paid - but by the end of pay day your broke again!

* People with no manners - it costs nothing to be nice.

Love

* Having a nice bubble bath after a long day - I love this light a few candle, put some soft music on, run a bubble bath and relax!

* I am cooking and baking allot more - due to inspiration from Nigella Lawson and The Great British Bake off!

* Curling up on the sofa with the hubby after a long day!

* Maggie Smith In Downtown Abbey - Her lines are just pure magic!

* Sarah Brightman's new song Angel - It means so much to me already reminds me of my brother.

* Pukka Tea - I have just discovered this tea due to a lovely lady in work and I love it. Can't to discover all the different flavors.

Love / Hate

Some more things that I have been loving & hating this week!

Hate

* Rude people who knock & bounce off me at rush hour without saying sorry - this happened allot this week.
* Men especially young men who walk around with no tops on at the first glimmer of sun - too much milky white skin on show for my liking!!
* Posers who change there twitter, facebook or what ever profile pictures ten times a day - really there is only so much pictures of pouting I can take!
* People who talk with there mouth full - really I don't want to see what your food looks like chewed up!
* Young girls who's whole conversation consists of "wow, like, omg, totally" - please learn some new words!

Love

* Dublin - I learned to love my hometown again this week, the sights and places to see are beautiful.
* The Summer - It finally seems to be here, the smell of cut grass, the noise of children playing outside, people in there summer clothes, and music playing from every house.
* Finally getting to drink & eat on the roof of our apartment - Wine tastes so much better when the view is amazing!
* New Girl - Only discovered this show and watched most of the series when I got the chance this week!
* My amazing friends - I am so lucky to have amazing people who love and look out for me and I am so proud I get to call them my friends.

What are you hating or loving this week?
