I am so lucky to have this amazing woman in my life

Meal Plan Thursday

Thursday: Sea Bass baked in the over
 with herbs, garlic, lemon served with courgettes and salad potatoes
(Oisín loves this fish and courgettes)

Friday: Beef stir fry with lots of veg and noodles
(Oisín will have the beef, veg and noodles with no sauce)

Saturday:  Homemade steak and kidney pie served with home made chips and salad
(Oisín will have fish fingers, peas and chips)

Sunday: Slimming world's toad in the hole served with roast potatoes

Monday: Jamie Oliver's Sausage Gnocchi
(We all love this in our house but it's a special favourite with Oisín!)

Tuesday: Sticky chilli pork with roast pepper cous cous
(Oisín will have the pork no chilli and cous cous)

Wednesday: Spaghetti bolognese

So that's our meal plan for the week

This Week I'm Grateful For:

My family who have been a God send since

last week when I got diagnosed with low blood pressure

and Vertigo

I had very bad dizzy and fainting spells the doctor

put me on tablets that where very strong and made 

me very drowsy 

Lucky I have a great husband and parents

who helped looked after Oisín
cook dinner, let me sleep and cleaned the house
All I have wanted to do since last week is sleep
vertigo is such a horrible feeling, makes me feel so sick
I am hoping the tablets work and it will easy with time.

Five Things 11/52

We needed one of those weekend when you do nothing!

That's exactly what we did! I need to recharge my batteries

after a few days of feeling run down, with low blood pressure and vertigo

We spend the weekend together as a family chilling out watching Disney

sleeping and eating yummy food!

Another long week this week

that ended with Oisín having a cough and cold

and with me having low blood pressure and vertigo

Saturday:

Throwback Thursday:

Throwback to St Patrick's Day last year 2014

It's so hard to believe that this was a year ago

Oisín slept threw most of his 1st Patrick's Day

Last year we went out for a meal and a few drinks

This year myself and Oisin weren't feeling very well

Oisín has a cold and cough

and it turns out I have low blood pressure and vertigo

but we still managed to have a nice day

Meal Plan Thursday

We do our weekly food shop every Thursday

we do most of our weekly shop in Aldi

We love this shop and have being buying our food

there ever since we moved in together five years ago

Now that I have joined slimming world

and and trying to eat more healthy 

I have decided to try do a meal plan

I think if we are more prepared we will eat healthy

I will post our meal plan every Thursday

and then post one recipe from that meal plan

Thursday: Slimming worlds doner kebab with pitta bread and home made slaw

(Oisín loves the pitta bread and slaw)

Friday: Chicken stir fry with egg noodles 

(Oisín has the chicken and noodles without sauce)

Saturday: Paul's homemade pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni, parma ham and bacon

Sunday: Sunday roast chicken with potatoes, carrots, broccoli and peas

Monday: Left over chicken, mushroom and leek pie served with lots of salad

Tuesday: Irish beef stew 

(Oisín's favourite!)

Wednesday: Left over stew served with mash potatoes and peas

So that's over meal plan for the week!

For my second Mother's day as a Mammy
we are off out for Sunday lunch with my Mammy

If I am half a good Mammy as mine
I know I will be doing something right!

Week In Pictures 39/52

This week felt like a long one!

Hubby came home from work on Monday

with a stomach bug

which passed on to me on Wednesday 

(I only had a touch of it and was able to go to work)

which then passed on to Oisín yesterday

so I am now currently in work waiting on a phone

call to say he has vomited!

Saturday:

Oisín eating his first tea cake 

at a Christening on Saturday!

Sunday:

Even though he is teething, has red cheeks,
and vomited Uncle Jamie can always make
him smile!

Monday:

Chill out time with a glass of wine and The Walking Dead

Tuesday:

The sun was out so off the the park we went!

Wednesday:

Wasn't feeling well but managed a short walk
after work

Thursday:

Thank God for early morning coffee!

Friday:

Flashback Friday can't believe this was

last Mother's Day!

This Week I'm Grateful For:

Pamper time...work has been a little full on at the moment for various reasons

So by the end of last week I was feeling a little drained and low

So my friend and I decided to have a half of day of pampering

We got our nails done, I got green and silver for Patrick's day

Then we got our hair done

 I even got a hot oil treatment to help with my split ends

It's amazing how good you feel after getting your roots done!

Lastly we got our eyebrows waxed and tinted!

We ended the afternoon at a christening with a large glass of wine!

Oisín 14 months old
Our poor little blue eyed boy hasn't been himself since last
Thursday when his two top eye teeth
started to cut through his gums
He is off his food, vomiting, and just wants to sleep all day
Poor little mite hopefully he will feel better soon.

Five Things 9/52

This weekend was a lovely one even if Oisín
wasn't 100% he is cutting more top teeth
and it hit him hard this weekend
all he wanted to do is sleep!

This little one took his first steps on Saturday morning
but has refused to do it since!

On Sunday we had family over for dinner
who where shouting for Tottenham to win
