Currently I Am:

Listening To:

Kate Bush's The Kick Inside. I love Kate Bush she is a kind of required taste my Hubby doesn't like her music at all! I just love her, she is quirky, original, great songwriter and she doesn't care about the press at all! This is her very first album it was the first one I got because Wuthering Heights was on it! I bought it when I was 17 and it was Autumn time and I think that's why I play it more at this time of the year. I have memories of being cosy in my bedroom while the wind howled outside while listening to The Kick Inside

Drinking:
A large glass of milk due to my gestational diabetes I can only have a pint & half of milk a day, before I was drinking 2/3 pints a day! I still think its important to get calcium for baby and myself so I try to drink a pint a day.

Wearing:

These pyjamas when I got home from a little walk in the park with Paul I was cold and slightly wet for the rain! So I got straight into my pj's, slippers and dressing gown!

Wanting:
To feel better soon had this week off work due to five hospital ,GP appointments and tests to get done. I am looking forward to getting back to work soon.

Needing:
Some more of this makeup. I love Estee Lauder double wear it is a little more expensive than other foundations but it gives amazing coverage and lasts so much longer. I have bad skin at the moment one of the not so nice symptoms of pregnancy so I find this is amazing, going to get a new bottle this weekend.

Enjoying:
The new series of Downton Abbey I love curling up on a Sunday night to watch this!

So what are you currently doing?

Five Things 33/52

Happy Monday Morning everyone! Hope your weekend went well ours was a nice relaxing one just what I needed! I felt so tired this weekend that I just wanted to sleep and sleep, but we did manage to so do some rearranging in the apartment and get some more things into storage. We went to a christening on Sunday but I was so tired that we had to leave after a few hours! Anyway here are Five Things from this weekend:

While we where putting some things into storage we found this little guy! It belonged to my Great Aunt from Wales who gave it to my brother when he was around ten and now its mine. I cleaned him up and he is now sitting on our bedroom window sill reminding me of great memories of the holiday we took to my Great Aunts with my brother.

Curling up with a good book!

Eating strawberries and pears while watching Downton Abbey.

Picking up early Christmas decorations every year I try pick up some new decorations. I know its early but I can't walk pass when I see a Christmas decoration I like! This cute snow man has little number blocks so you can count down the days till Christmas!

We went to this little cutie's Christening on Sunday. It got me all broody and can't till it's our own little blips christening. It was nice to get tips of other Mam's. Can't wait to met this little baby of ours.

Five Things 31/52

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a nice weekend, the weather here was lovely and mild again this weekend! We spent the weekend relaxing and enjoying family time. Big shout out to my wonderful Mammy it's her birthday today so a huge Happy Birthday to her.
Here are my five things from this weekend:

Early weekend treat! I bought these My Little Pony pyjamas on Friday. By Friday night I was snuggling in them with a cup of hot chocolate!

On Saturday we had my parents up for a family dinner to celebrate my Mam's birthday. As Paul and my Dad are on shift work Saturday was the only day that suited them both. Paul made this amazing dinner, leg of lamb with all the trimmings. We all scoffed it and couldn't move after it!

When we could finally move a few hours after dinner we wished my Mam a Happy Birthday with this cookie cake!

Lazy Sunday mornings of blueberry muffins, orange juice, tea and the Sunday papers...bliss!

I have been missing my glass of red while watching Downton Abbey on Sundays. So I was really happy when I found this non alcoholic red wine. It is a little bitter and tart but I can pretend to have a glass of red while watching my favourite show!

I'm off now to visit my Mam and give her birthday presents. Enjoy the rest of your day. What's your five things from the weekend?
