Our Uncle Finbar Furey has been taking part in the RTE show The Hit where famous musical artists chose between two songs and songwriters. Finbar went with The Last Great Love Song soon the song was getting lots of air play and all my friends in work where talking about it!

Just before the finale show last night we found out the The Last Great Love Song had gone to No 1 in the Irish charts we had a feeling then, that Finbar had it in the bag!! We where delighted as he was told he was the winner of the show. I love the song and it has been added to little blip's birth playlist!!

Well done Finbar we are all very proud of you

Bump To Baby - 21 Weeks Pregnant

- Baby is now the length of a banana
- Baby can now get the hiccups!
- Felt lots of fluttering and kicks from baby this week!
- Major cravings for milk this week drinking pints of it!
- Nesting started this week! I really went into spring clean mood! Throwing things out and rearranging things!

How Many Weeks Pregnant?: 21 Weeks

Nickname For Baby?: Little Blip

Gender Of Baby?: We don't know!!

Any Stretch Marks Yet?: None yet still using Bio Oil although my belly has been quite itchy this week so I have been using more Bio Oil and Garnier body lotion than normal!

Any Maternity Clothes Yet?: Paul bought me a dress and shoes for a wedding we are going to in a few weeks. He bought them as part of our second wedding anniversary presents!

Any Movement Yet?: Lots of movement this week and I am enjoying it so much it still takes me by surprise when I get a strong kick. Lots of fluttering its just the most beautiful feeling! There is a little patterning to blip's movements I feel a little in the mornings when I am getting ready for work, sometime some more fluttering in the afternoons and then lots in the evening times when I am chilled out and relaxed. It's funny because I get stronger kicks when I am eating as if to say about time I'm hungry or after I have ate as if to say I enjoyed that!!

How Is Sleeping?: Sleeping is quite good at the moment I have took to reading before bed and its makes me more relaxed so I can nod off easier. My pregnant pillow is great and it helps me get a good nights sleep.

Any Nausea?: I have noticed that I have been getting a little nausea if I am hungry! The other day in work I didn't bring any snacks and I got bad nausea! Another time I felt quite sick I had a small snack and I was fine again, I also got a big kick from blip as if to say about time!!

Food Cravings?: Still milk, cheese and yogurts but also avocados (again!) and I am loving guacamole with everything!!!

Food Aversions?: Still fish but not as bad as before I can now actually look at it while out food shopping and the TV ads don't bother me as much any more!

Miss Anything From Before Being Pregnant?: Nothing I can think of this week!

Symptoms This Week?: Still getting round ligament pain which I a not enjoying :( Also sore boobs as they are growing again!! Lower back pain, acne cleared up for a few weeks but is back again and its sooooo bad! Nausea when I am hungry! I have also notice that my belly button is poking out a little...not sure I want a outie belly button!!!

Worst Moment Of the Week?: Missing my little brother, I am finding it a little hard to know little blip will never know it's fun Uncle Patrick. I know my brother is always with me but I just wish he could met little blip. I like to believe Patrick will be little blip's angel.
Also getting a bit of a head cold this weekend trying to get rid of it before it developed into a bad cold so vitamin C and vaporub was used all weekend!!

Best Moment Of the Week?: Paul feeling blip move on Thursday night he had been trying to feel blip move for a few days but it always seemed to stop when he tried to feel! On Thursday night little blip was going crazy with kicking just as we where about to go asleep! Paul put his hand on my bump and felt around five kicks one after the other! Paul's face was such a picture I love how amazed he looks when stuff like this happens! Also another lovely moment was catching up with my Uncle and Goddaughter this weekend it was great to catch up we had a lovely day. Plus my Uncle is a chef and he cooked the most delicious dinner!!

Five Things 26/52

Happy Monday!! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! It's not a bank holiday here in Ireland as we had ours at the start of the month! The weeks are flying by and I can't believe we are almost at the end of August and Summer!! We had a busy weekend of visiting my brother's grave, meeting with friends, then visiting family, shopping and then I got a cold!

My Uncle, Paul and my Goddaughter. Myself, Paul and my parents visited my Uncle and Goddaughter this weekend. It was great to see them, I have spoke on the phone etc but haven't actually seen them since I got pregnant. They where so happy to see me and bump! My Uncle is a chef so we had a huge yummy dinner which was great too! We had a lovely family day together and I love days like that.

New favourite Yankee candle its called Garden Hideaway its a lovely fresh smell of cut grass mixed with fresh flowers.

This has been a life saver this weekend when I came down with a slight cold. I can't use much cold medicine with being pregnant so when I was told I could use this it was great. I put some in some warm water and inhaled it and then at night I put in on my pillow to help me breathe.

I know I used this picture last week for five things but I met up with my friend Susan this weekend. She treated me to a lovely Chinese meal this weekend it was lovely but of course I forgot to take a picture! So I had to reuse this pic! We had a lovely evening of scoffing Chinese food, talking about little blip and of course some wedding planning for her wedding in 2015!!

I got another maternity buy! This top perfect for when the weather starts to change when its too cold for t-shirts but too warm for jumpers! This is not actual a maternity top it's just a large size it's from Dunnes stores and it's €12

Well that's my five things hope you had a nice weekend.

Bump To Baby - 20 Weeks Pregnant

- Baby is now the size of a cantaloupe melon
- We are at the half way point yippee!!
- Had my midwife appointment this week and little blip decided to play hide and seek! After a tense ten minutes the midwife finally found blip's heart beat and we could relax again!
- At the midwife appointment myself and blip measurements where off. So we had a rushed hospital appointment at the hospital we had a mini scan and doctor told us baby is measuring fine I just have a little more fluid than normal but its nothing to worry about
- Little blip's first kick was on Saturday night while Paul was watching match of the day!!

How Many Weeks Pregnant?: 20 Weeks or 5 Months and we are at the halfway point!

Nickname For Baby?: Little Blip

Gender Of Baby?: Don't Know

Any Stretch Marks Yet?: Still none yet thanks to Bio Oil and Garnier Body Lotion!

Any Maternity Clothes Yet?: Nothing new this week. I will do a maternity haul post of what I have bought so far later this week.

Any Movement Yet?: YES finally!! I have been feeling little flutters since Friday night! Mainly when I am relaxed with my feet up I feel it but I did get it while doing house work singing along to Stevie Nicks!!! Little blip's first kick was while Paul was watching Match of the Day Saturday night!! Can't wait to feel some more!

How Is Sleeping?: When I finally get to sleep I am getting a good nights sleep but I am finding it hard to get to sleep. Going to try wind down an hour before I go to bed from now on and hopefully that will help.

Any Nausea?: None!

Food Cravings?: Still milk, cheese, yogurt and dairy products.

Food Aversions?: Fish still can't look at it. I am even going past the aisle while shopping without looking at it!

Miss Anything From Before Being Pregnant?: No nothing this week!

Symptoms This Week?: Back aches, indigestion has got really bad this week! Round ligament pain and cramping again this week. Acne also came back this week :(

Worst Moment Of the Week?: When at the midwife's appointment and we could find a heart beat for a good ten minutes my heart was in my mouth!! I don't think I could breath until we finally heard little blip's strong heart beat!

Best Moment Of the Week?: Two best moments this week. After months of saving we finally got a new car which I have called Betsy! It great that things seem to be come together for us after a few months of not being sure of a few things.
Even better than getting a car was feeling little blip's first kick!! I have been getting flutters since Friday night, got lots all day Saturday and on Saturday night I was reading a book and Paul was watching match of the day and I got the first little kick from Blip!! It made me say "ooh" out loud Paul thought there was something wrong he was so happy when I told him especially as it happened during match of the day!! I have felt a lot more fluttering since then and can't wait to feel some more kicks!
