This is me Lisa Furey!
So a bit about me....I am 31 with blue eyes and red hair.... I have lived all my life in Dublin Ireland. I had a lovely childhood going on little holidays around Ireland with my parents and my little brother Patrick.

Unfortunately we lost my wonderful little brother Patrick ten years ago through suicide in 2006. It was a very hard and dark time in not just my life but for all my family. We lost our joker of the family. He was a gentle giant, kind, caring, and funny, but underneath it all he was hurting and in a very dark place he thought he had no way out. I wish he would of spoke to us or to anyone...cause nothing is ever as bad as it seems and there is always a better way out of things. Suicide is NOT the answer. Patrick left a huge hole in our lives....but I will always be grateful to him for bringing a wonderful special man into my life my husband Paul.

Paul & I met almost 11 years ago (wow time flies!!) We met through my brother Patrick, Paul and Patrick where working in the same place. I was just about to start a temporary job there too, Patrick happened to say before I started that he thought I would like Paul. Well he was right Paul and I hit if off right away and the rest as they say is history!

It took us a long time as a family to get over Patrick's sudden death. To be honest you never really get over it, you just learn to deal with it and time really does make things a little easier. As a family we try to do things for fund raising for suicide awareness. After Patrick died our family and lots of Patrick's friends ran a huge fundraiser and we all made over €5,000 for suicide awareness.

Our wedding day was amazing. I was welcomed into The Furey Clan with open arms!! For those of you who know the band The Fureys then you will know music is a huge part of Paul's family life and there was alot of singing and dancing at our wedding!! We are so lucky that we get on so well with each other famlies. I have often gone missing to the pub with Paul's Mam and he with My Dad!!!

Paul & I having been living in our little house for almost three years. After struggling with PCOS and endometrosis for years I finally got pregnant in 2013. I loved doing my pregnancy blogs after a hard pregnancy we had our beautiful baby boy Oisìn on the 27th December 2013
He is our world! The time has gone so quickly and he will be three this year
