Things That Made Me Say Yeah 15/52

This weekend was a lovely one
Time spent together with family to
celebrate my Mam birthday
and I also managed to
have an afternoon all to
myself!

This little man was nine months old
on Saturday!!

 I wasn't feeling very well on Saturday
Paul and Oisín went off to watch the football in a friends
So I had Saturday afternoon to myself
I curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea
and watched an old classic Cleopatra

 Sunday we had family up for Sunday lunch
These three spent most of the afternoon like these
watching the Ryder Cup!

Mam, Uncle Gerard and Oisín

 Six hour slow roast pulled pork for lunch yummy!!

 I love having family over for dinner
Paul done a great job and cooked us a feast
I was on washing up duty!
Oisín had green beans and he loved them!

Of course Downton Abbey always makes me say yeah
but even more so when I have bubbles to go with it!

Bump To Baby - He's Here - 9 Month Update

Milestones:

Oisín has now two teeth! He is also cutting two more!
My baby boy said Mama for the first time this month
He can wave bye bye

How Many Months Old?: 9 Months

Weight & Height?: Not sure keep meaning to weigh him and measure his length

How Is Baby Eating?: Not eating too good this month due to teething, poor little thing if off his food alot this month due to teething pains. What he is enjoying is anything cold or refreshing like pieces of melon, peaches, pears, frozen strawberries, bananas and yogurts

How Is Baby Sleeping?: Due to teething Oisín's sleeping pattern has been a little mixed up,
he has found it hard to sleep during the night and has been waking up with
teething pains. I cuddly him and he normally goes back to sleep!

Is Baby Crawling or Walking Yet?: Still isn't crawling yet but is getting into crawling position and getting alot more upper body strength so I thinking her will be pulling himself into the standing position soon!

Is Baby Talking Yet?: Lots of new words this month for Oisín he said Mama for the first time while I was away for the weekend! Paul rang me to let me hear Oisín say it on the phone! He said it again a few days later when I was at home. He also saying things that sound like hiya, hello! He also loves to scream and babble alot! 

How is Baby's Routine?: Oisín's has changed a good bit this month
He wakes at 7am has a 5oz bottle
He doesn't go back to sleep anymore so we get up and have breakfast around 7.30am or 8am
then Oisín will will play, get dressed and have another bottle at 10am
He goes for a nap around 10.30am or 11am for 30 to 40 minutes
He has lunch at 1.30pm and then another bottle
He has dinner at 5.30 or 6pm
He is normally in bed at 7pm in the evening after baths etc

How is Mammy & Daddy this Month?: Tired!

Worst Moment Of the Month?: In between teething Oisín got a cold which was awful!

Best Moment Of the Month?: When our beautiful baby boy put his arms out to me and said Mama closely followed by when Paul came home from work and Oisín smiled and said Dada to him!

This week has been good for me as I am
feeling refreshed and good in myself
Unfortunately Paul and Oisín have picked up
a cold and Oisín is having a hard time
shaking it off 

Saturday:

Time to relax with a glass of wine
and new slippers!

Sunday:

The return of Sunday lunches!

Plus the return of my favourite Downton Abbey!

Monday:

Monday morning smiles...plus porridge and a glimpse of teeth!

Tuesday:

Enjoying walks in the park

Wednesday:

Home is where you hang your coat!

Thursday:

Poor little Oisín has a bit of a cold and has

slept for most of the day!

Friday:

Oisín likes Daddy's boxer shorts!

September Primark/Pennys Haul!

My Autumn/Winter shopping has begun!
I done a John Lewis haul a few days
ago, here is a recent Primark/Pennys haul

I will start with the few bits I got

Oisín (can't go to pennys/primark and

not pick up my little man something!)

 This little bib Disney's 101 Dalmatians was €2

 As it will be Oisín's first Halloween

I couldn't pass this it was €2

 Cute stripped knit jumper its quite light

so it will be ideal for now it

was €6

3 pack sleepsuits

Oisín goes through these so quick

so I always need lots of sleepsuits

there was three in a pack but he was wearing

one going to bed! The pack was €9

 Cream sparkly cardigan I loved this

It's lovely and soft, very flattering on

It was €17

 Cream or oatmeal flat ankle boots

I really need things like this for every day wear

These where €11

 Dotted cream over size jumper

I have something like this with love hearts on

from last season, so I knew it would be comfortable

This was €11

Black gillet always wanted one of these

Finally got this super soft one €15

 These look brown in the picture

but there more of a reddish colour 

These are really comfortable ankle boots

love these and they were €20

 Soft ballerina slippers €3

 Black velvet touch tights €3

I also bought an umbrella €4

I also picked up some underwear the

bras €8 and pants €6

Last part of this haul was 

two pack of hair bands €1.50

and face wipes was €1.50

What I Ate Wednesday

Still trying to eat as good and healthy
as I can, not doing to bad!
Here is what we ate today!

Breakfast 7.30am:

My breakfast was a large glass of water with lemon

two weetabix with bananas blueberries and cold 

skimmed milk

Oisín has porridge with strawberries

and a 4oz bottle afterwards

Lunch 1.45pm:

I wanted something a little different for lunch

so I had some bacon on a muffin

with a cup of tea

Oisín had some pasta with tomatoes 

with some water for lunch

He also had a 5oz bottle after lunch

Dinner 6pm:

My dinner was boiled potatoes with

bacon chops with garlic butter and

a glass of water

Oisín had mash potato, carrot, pork and

gravy for dinner, with some water

This was from our Sunday lunch but

I froze it

After Dinner Treat 8pm:

I had a piece of cream and jam cake
with a cup of tea tonight
while watching the bake off!

Mornings and Nights

The past few mornings have been a little

darker, with mist and fog....

I have been lighting a few candles

while eating breakfast

Wrapping up a little bit

warmer on my walk to work

Enjoying my mid morning latte

I always have a coffee at 11am

in the morning I need it as that's when

I start to hit a bit of a wall!

Getting home to this cute face

Enjoying a lunch time cuppa and cake

with my Mam she minds

Oisín in the mornings 

while I am in work

and he just adores her!

We might take a walk at

this time or if the

weather in bad

play on the floor with Oisín's

toys

Dinner time
