What Going On :

This Week 25/11/2013: This is how I look on week four and the final week of Movember

This Week 18/11/2013: This is how I look on week three of Movember. Pictured here with some cool elf Christmas slippers that Lisa bought me!

This Week 11/11/2013: This is how I look on week two of Movember...Lisa has said I look like Ned Flanners and a little girl at swimming lessons at my job said I look like a monkey with a mustache!

This Week 4/11/2013: This is how I look on week one of Movember:

This Week 01/11/2013: First day of November and I am starting Movember I do this every year to raise awareness for a good cause for men's cancer. I normally do this on my own but this year a few men from my job are also getting involved wonder how many of them will last until the 1st December!? If you want any more information on Movember you can check out here in the mean time here are some pictures of my Movember last year!

This Week 15/07/2013: I haven't updated here in a long time so sorry about that. I have been quite busy with work and various other things. The big new here is that I am a Dad to be! We are over the moon and can't wait for this new chapter of our lives to begin.

This Week 04/02/13: This weekend was my 31st birthday myself and Lisa had the Friday off so it was a nice long weekend for both of us. I had a nice birthday and got lots of different presents. Why do weekends go so fast? Had a great day playing with my niece Ella she is so funny! Here are some pics of my birthday weekend.

This Week 28/12/12: Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. We had a love time.

This Week 26/10/12: I haven't updated here is a while but I have had so much going on! Last week with my job in Tallaght Leisure Centre Dublin we went to collect our award for our white flag. It was an overnight event arranged by ILAM Ireland. The award looks at the operation, maintenance and running of the facility and it’s staff, along with implementing minimum operating standards for White Flag Accreditation. This year we are delighted to announce that we received the Sliver Excellence award. I was delighted after all the hard work that myself and the staff done that we where awarded for it. You can find out more about Tallaght Leisure Centre our gym times, swimming pool times, and children camps here www.tallaghtleisure.com I am also looking forward to going to my best friend's 30th fancy dress party tomorrow and seeing the new Bond film over the weekend!

This Week 09/09/12: Last weekend it was our first wedding anniversary the time has gone so fast. We had a lovely weekend we tried to stick to the theme of  1st year anniversary presents which is paper. So I got Lisa fifty shades of grey ;) tickets to see Swan Lake (she was hinting like mad she would love to see a ballet) and the normal other stuff flowers, chocolates and champagne. Lisa got me my favorite book  timeriders and tickets to see my favorite show War of the Worlds, a bookmarker and chocolates. We went out for a meal Saturday night and then Sunday we went to the hotel we got married in, we had a overnight stay in a suite and a lovely four course meal. I am really looking forward to seeing War of The Worlds in November. Now I am settling down with a beer getting ready to watch the All Ireland Hurling final, while Lisa is slipping lemslip for her cold!! I think she has man flu!!

This week 7/08/12: This week I took a week off work and Lisa & I went on a few days out around Dublin to see the sights. I had done a few of these things before but Lisa had never done any before, so we went to Dublin's city hall, The old house of Pareliement, The National Art Gallery, Jameson Whiskey Tour, The National Museum, Guinness Tour, and the Viking Boat Tour among others. We got great weather to do all the sights. My favourite was the end of the Guinness tour where we got to go to the top and see a bird's eye view of Dublin with a free pint of Guinness! Lisa also dragged me along to do afternoon tea and some other stuff but all in all it was a great week off. Here are some pictures from the Guinness Tour.

This week 27/07/12: This week we went to see The Dark Knight Rises in the cinema. I was really looking forward to seeing this movie as I am a big fan of the Batman movies. I don't think it should be compared The Dark Knight as it's a very different movie. The Dark Knight is much more of a thriller where as this one is more action-packed. Tom Hardy is excellent as Bane I believe he is a very underrated actor but this should bring him the recognition he deserves. I think if you have chance you should go see this movie.

This week 16/07/12: This week I am looking forward to going to see The Phantom of The Opera in the BGE Theatre on Friday. I am not big into musicals but when I met Lisa I soon realised that she loved this musical, we went to see the film on one of our first dates, just before the film started she told me it was a musical I had thought it was a horror! We have been to see it around the world, London, Broadway, Las Vegas, and now we are going to see the tour here in Dublin. Lisa is a bit worried about the fact that is a new production, new sets etc, but I think for me it will bring something fresh to the show. I am looking forward to seeing it on Friday but my wallet isn't as Lisa has to have anything to do with Phantom! Wish me and my wallet luck!!

This week 9/07/12: So the feile is over and it was a great success. The players made great friends with players from Fermanagh & Leitrim. The lads played really well and give there all but unfortunately didn't make it out of the group stages. Here are some pictures of the All Ireland Feile.

This week 2/07/12: I am looking forward to The All Ireland Feile which starts on the 5th July and will last three days. This will feature under 14 teams from all around the country including the team I coach Commercials Rathcoole. Highlights include hurling matches & a parade down O'Connell street. The feile will be exciting because it will give us great insight into how hurling is played around the country at under 14's level.
The goal of the feile is to bring young players together in a effort to create greater awareness of hurling in this country and create bonds between inter-county clubs. I am really looking forward to this & Lisa is helping out making food! It should be a good few days...wish us luck!!!
