Over The Weekend #53

This weekend as a household we where all feeling fairly tired and a little rundown
Oisìn has come down with a bad cough at night time which sounds a little like croup
He is fine during the day but night time is awful poor little thing the sound of that barking cough breaks my heart. So we are all more than a little tired during the day and the circles under my eyes have got a little bigger!
My Mam invited us to dinner on Saturday understanding that we where all more than a little shattered. She whipped up a large pot of her Irish Stew and it was just what the doctor order for all of us! Although Paul has also been run down lately trying to shift a lingering viral infection he still smiles and makes our little boy feel better. I found 25 selfies on my phone from these two jokers from when we where in my parents for dinner!

It was a very restless night for us all Saturday night but before all that Paul and I got into the Halloween spirit and watched one of my favourite scary movies An American Werewolf In London!

After a long night we all need fuel the next morning, so I had a big Slimming World friendly grill up!

Sunday we spent relaxing Oisìn and I did alot of dozing on the sofa!
We got cosy and watched Disney's Aladdin and Oisìn loved it!
So that was our weekend! Hopefully next weekend we will be all feeling a little better!

Over The Weekend #37

This weekend there isn't many pictures as I spent most of it
asleep in bed! Chronic pain mixed with flu symptoms had me exhausted and sleeping for most of the weekend!
Saturday we did manage to get to the library and park with Oisìn
we spent sometime reading, then went for coffee and then to the park.
Oisìn again this weekend is pushing boundaries and testing our patience to see what
he can and can't get away with!
He spent a good bit of time on the naughty chair again this weekend!
It has been hard as I have been laid up in bed, in alot of pain, trying to be semi-normal
to be honest Paul has took alot of the parenting duties this week and weekend
He has been fantastic looking after my chronic pain needs, been great around the house doing chores and cooking meals, while also doing all the Daddy duties.
He also brought Oisìn swimming Saturday when he knew I really need peace and pain relief!
I spent Saturday night reading and Paul also fancied an early night
he isn't much of a big reader so I was shocked when he picked this mammoth book in the library!
His and hers reading material!
So today I have mostly spent in bed, I am feeling sore but not as bad as the pass
couple of days thankfully!
Oisìn came into our bed for a little earlier and it was
so sweet to have a little nap with him.
I have spent most of today reading sleeping and watching
booktube which is my new favourite thing!
We have just finished a lovely Sunday roast that Paul cooked
I am going to have a long soak in a bubble bath and an early night
Hoping that next weekend will be better and I will finally get some relief from chronic illness.

Over The Weekend #18

This weekend didn't go how I wanted but then when does life!?
Friday was a lovely day I was well enough to walk down to daycare in the morning with Oisìn
Then came home and made myself a breakfast smoothie with all the lovely fruit
I got in my delivery

After day care Oisìn and I went for a walk in the park
We met my Dad and Uncle on the way home which Oisìn was happy about!

Saturday was another nice day we got out for a walk
We went to the library and the to the in laws for tea
But by the evening my bowel pain was acting up
Sunday was a dull rainy day and I didn't feel myself at all
I felt dizzy, light headed and sick all day
But I did manage to eat a lovely Sunday lunch
I did spent most of the in bed reading and resting
Hopefully this week we will be all back to normal and illness free!

Over The Weekend #10

I would love to say this weekend was a lovely one
and we done lovely things to celebrate the run up to Christmas
but we didn't it seems this weekend in November is the time we
get sick, last year it was the same weekend different illness a winter bug
this year Oisín came down with a horrible cough and cold
the cough is so bad it has been making him vomit poor thing
I am in the middle of my second c9 detox
but by Saturday I could feel the tingle in my throat and my nose was blocked!
So far Paul hasn't got it and he has been a diamond looking after his two patients!

I haven't broke from the C9 still doing
it and on day six today but finding it
hard as I have no appetite and
just want to sleep!

Spent alot of time in bed reading
festive books to cheer myself up!

Oisín and I wrapped ourselves up in blankets
had jammie days and watched lots of Disney

We have alot on next weekend so are hoping
to all better for then, so lots of snuggles
are happening today!
